In Friday's league contest, the visiting William Penn Charter Quakers basketball team scored a good 57-42 win over the Malvern Prep Friars.
The Quakers (13-3) will now prepare for their contest against Georgetown Prep (North Bethesda, MD). The Little Hoyas come into the non-league contest with a 7-9 record. In their last contest, Georgetown Prep defeated St. Albans (Washington, DC), 81-56, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Friars battle the Pennington Red Hawks (Pennington, NJ) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 18. Malvern Prep will attempt to better on its 10-5 season record. The Red Hawks come into the contest with a 7-2 record after their 76-70 non-league loss to Academy of the New Church (Bryn Athyn, PA).
