In Friday's league test, the Marshfield Pirates (Coos Bay, OR) basketball squad defeated the host Marist Spartans (Eugene, OR), by a final score of 49-41.
Next, the Pirates clash with the Junction City Tigers (Junction City, OR) in a 4A Sky Em test, on Friday, January 24. Marshfield will attempt to upgrade on its 13-2 season record.
The Spartans (9-4) will now prepare for their test against Junction City (Junction City, OR). The Tigers come into the 4A Sky Em test with a 5-9 record. In their last test, Junction City went down by Cottage Grove (Cottage Grove, OR), 66-59, in a league test.
