Texas High School Basketball - McAllen triumphant over Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest

The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the McAllen Bulldogs (McAllen, TX) and the host Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest Javelinas (Pharr, TX), observed McAllen's basketball team overwhelm Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest by a score of 82-34.

The Bulldogs (21-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Pioneer (Mission, TX). The Diamondbacks come into the 5A Region IV District 31 challenge with a 12-16 record. In their last challenge, Pioneer was routed by McAllen Memorial (McAllen, TX), 81-39, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Javelinas encounter the Rowe Warriors (McAllen, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 31 challenge, on Friday, January 24. Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest will attempt to improve on its 2-16 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 19-8 record after their 58-48 league win over Sharyland (Mission, TX).
