Wisconsin High School Basketball - Mineral Point can't hold off Southwestern

The Southwestern Wildcats nipped the host Mineral Point Pointers basketball squad by a final score of 79-77 in Friday's league outing.

Next, the Wildcats face the Abundant Life Challengers (Madison, WI) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, January 23. Southwestern will attempt to upgrade on its 11-3 season record. The Challengers enter the outing with a 9-2 record after their 48-32 non-league win over Palmyra-Eagle (Palmyra, WI).

The Pointers (11-1) will now prepare for their outing against Boscobel (Boscobel, WI). The Bulldogs enter the Southwest Wisconsin Activities outing with a 1-13 record. In their last outing, Boscobel was nipped by Fennimore (Fennimore, WI), 67-37, in a league outing.
