Maine High School Basketball - Sumner victorious over Narraguagus

In Friday's league contest, the host Sumner Tigers basketball team scored a good 80-72 triumph over the Narraguagus Knights.
The Tigers (8-4) will now prepare for their contest against George Stevens Academy (Blue Hill, ME). The Eagles go into the C North contest with a 6-4 record. In their last contest, George Stevens Academy was toppled by Mattanawcook (Lincoln, ME), 65-59, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Knights confront the Shead Tigers (Eastport, ME) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Narraguagus will attempt to better on its 2-10 season record.
