In Friday's league contest, the visiting New Albany Eagles basketball team scored a good 55-45 triumph over the Westerville Central Warhawks.
The Eagles (10-2) will now prepare for their contest against Belmont (Dayton, OH). The Bison go into the non-league contest with a 2-9 record. In their last contest, Belmont was topped by Dunbar (Dayton, OH), 71-60, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Warhawks battle the Linsly Cadets (Wheeling, WV) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 18. Westerville Central will attempt to better on its 4-9 season record. The Cadets go into the contest with a 4-7 record after their 80-48 non-league win over Weir (Weirton, WV).
