The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Reardan Screaming Eagles (Reardan, WA) and the visiting Newport Grizzlies (Newport, WA), observed Reardan's basketball team overwhelm Newport by a score of 86-30.

The Screaming Eagles (14-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Northwest Christian School (Colbert, WA). The Crusaders come into the 2B Bi-County challenge with a 12-3 record. In their last challenge, Northwest Christian School trounced Davenport (Davenport, WA), 82-46, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Grizzlies encounter the Colville Crimson Hawks (Colville, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 18. Newport will attempt to improve on its 0-13 season record. The Crimson Hawks come into the challenge with a 5-8 record after their 75-56 league loss to Medical Lake (Medical Lake, WA).
