The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Niles North Vikings (Skokie, IL) and the host Niles West Wolves (Skokie, IL), observed Niles North's basketball team overwhelm Niles West by a score of 60-34.

The Vikings (15-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Lake Park (Roselle, IL). The Lancers come into the non-league challenge with a 6-12 record. In their last challenge, Lake Park was routed by Conant (Hoffman Estates, IL), 47-43, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Wolves encounter the Vernon Hills Cougars (Vernon Hills, IL) in a Central Suburban - North challenge, on Friday, January 24. Niles West will attempt to improve on its 8-12 season record.
