With the victory, South Stokes advances its record to 12-2 on the year. The Sauras travel to Elkin (Elkin, NC) to meet the Buckin' Elks in a 1A Northwest match on Tuesday, January 21. The Buckin' Elks enter the match with a record of 7-7. Elkin won 58-55 in their recent league match against Mount Airy (Mount Airy, NC)

The Vikings now own a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Alleghany for a 1A Northwest match on Saturday, January 18. North Stokes will meet a Trojans squad coming off a 57-52 league win over Elkin (Elkin, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 6-5.
