The Sipsey Valley Bears basketball squad (Buhl, AL), was outscored 50-33 in Friday's league battle with the host Northside Rams (Northport, AL)
With the victory, Northside advances its record to 16-6 on the year. The Rams host John Carroll Catholic (Birmingham, AL) to meet the Cavaliers in a 5A Area 9 battle on Tuesday, January 21. The Cavaliers enter the battle with a record of 9-13.
The Bears now own a 8-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hale County for a non-league battle on Monday, January 20.
