In Friday's league contest, the visiting Perkins Pirates basketball team scored a big 73-34 triumph over the Norwalk Truckers.
The Pirates (9-4) will now prepare for their contest against St. John's Jesuit (Toledo, OH). The Titans go into the non-league contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, St. John's Jesuit smashed Central Catholic (Toledo, OH), 53-49, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Truckers confront the Huron Tigers (Huron, OH) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 18. Norwalk will attempt to better on its 5-8 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 9-3 record after their 60-50 non-league win over Western Reserve (Collins, OH).
