The Ouachita Parish Lions basketball team scored 66 points and limited the visiting West Monroe Rebels to 64 in the Lions league triumph on Friday.

The Lions now have a 18-7 record. They play next when they host Pineville for a 5A District 2 game on Friday, January 24.

With the loss, West Monroe falls to 9-11 on the campaign. The Rebels host Minden (Minden, LA) to confront the Crimson Tide in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 21. The Crimson Tide go into the game with a record of 13-4. Minden won 75-50 in their recent league game against Booker T. Washington-Shreveport (Shreveport, LA)
