The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Portola Tigers (Portola, CA) and the visiting Quincy Trojans (Quincy, CA), observed Portola's basketball team overwhelm Quincy by a score of 77-47.

The Tigers (11-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Biggs (Biggs, CA). The Wolverines come into the Mid-Valley challenge with a 9-5 record. In their last challenge, Biggs was routed by Hamilton (Hamilton City, CA), 58-51, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Trojans battle the Maxwell Panthers (Maxwell, CA) in a Mid-Valley challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Quincy will attempt to improve on its 8-8 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 7-4 record after their 50-34 league loss to Williams (Williams, CA).
