Illinois High School Basketball - Quincy fells Rock Island

The Quincy Blue Devils basketball team scored 56 points and limited the visiting Rock Island Rocks to 44 in the Blue Devils league triumph on Friday.

The Blue Devils now possess a 17-1 record. They play next when they host Lincoln for a non-league game on Saturday, January 18. Quincy will confront a Railsplitters team coming off a 44-30 league loss to Lanphier (Springfield, IL). The Railsplitters record now stands at 10-7.

With the loss, Rock Island falls to 18-2 on the campaign. The Rocks host Manual (Peoria, IL) to confront the Rams in a non-league game on Monday, January 20. The Rams go into the game with a record of 13-6. Manual lost 56-47 in their recent non-league game against Joliet West (Joliet, IL)
