Ohio High School Basketball - Ridgewood nudges Tuscarawas Valley

The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Ridgewood Generals (West Lafayette, OH) and the host Tuscarawas Valley Trojans (Zoarville, OH), observed Ridgewood's basketball team edge Tuscarawas Valley by a score of 57-54.

The Generals (5-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Meadowbrook (Byesville, OH). The Colts come into the non-league challenge with a 3-8 record. In their last challenge, Meadowbrook was tipped by New Lexington (New Lexington, OH), 61-31, in a non-league bout.

With the loss, Tuscarawas Valley falls to 2-10 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Dover (Dover, OH) to play the Crimson Tornadoes in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 21. The Crimson Tornadoes go into the bout with a record of 8-5. Dover won 53-43 in their recent non-league bout against Trinity (Garfield Heights, OH)
