In Friday's league contest, the host St. Bede Bruins basketball team scored a good 56-41 triumph over the Roanoke-Benson Rockets.
The Bruins (9-12) will now prepare for their contest against Putnam County (Granville, IL). The Panthers go into the Tri-County contest with a 0-16 record.
In their next game, the Rockets battle the Brimfield Indians (Brimfield, IL) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Roanoke-Benson will attempt to better on its 7-10 season record. The Indians go into the contest with a 13-7 record after their 47-40 non-league win over Elmwood (Elmwood, IL).
