Texas High School Basketball - Shallowater knocks off Roosevelt

In Friday's league contest, the host Shallowater Mustangs basketball team scored a good 84-68 win over the Roosevelt Eagles.
The Mustangs (9-4) will now prepare for their contest against Dimmitt (Dimmitt, TX). The Bobcats come into the 3A Region I District 2 contest with a 8-13 record. In their last contest, Dimmitt was topped by Slaton (Slaton, TX), 62-38, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Muleshoe Mules (Muleshoe, TX) in a 3A Region I District 2 contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Roosevelt will attempt to better on its 11-11 season record. The Mules come into the contest with a 1-11 record after their 69-20 league loss to Idalou (Idalou, TX).
