The Wylie East Raiders defeated the visiting Sachse Mustangs basketball squad by a final score of 65-45 in Friday's league outing.

Next, the Raiders clash with the South Garland Titans (Garland, TX) in a 6A Region II District 9 outing, on Tuesday, January 21. Wylie East will attempt to upgrade on its 15-10 season record.

With the loss, Sachse falls to 13-14 on the campaign. The Mustangs host North Garland (Garland, TX) to play the Raiders in a 6A Region II District 9 game on Tuesday, January 21. The Raiders go into the game with a record of 9-11. North Garland won 61-46 in their recent league game against Wylie East (Wylie, TX)
