The Yorba Linda Mustangs basketball team scored 55 points and limited the host Sonora Raiders to 52 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Friday.

The Mustangs now possess a 17-5 record. They play next when they travel to Villa Park for a Freeway game on Tuesday, January 21. Yorba Linda will confront a Spartans team coming off a 76-56 league win over Troy (Fullerton, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 15-8.

With the loss, Sonora falls to 7-15 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Salesian (Los Angeles, CA) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league game on Monday, January 20. The Mustangs go into the game with a record of 11-9. Salesian won 62-52 in their recent league game against Cathedral (Los Angeles, CA)
