Mississippi High School Basketball - West Tallahatchie holds off South Delta

The West Tallahatchie Choctaws basketball team scored 64 points and limited the host South Delta Bulldogs to 58 in the Choctaws league triumph on Friday.
The Choctaws now have a 7-12 record. They play next when they host Leland for a 1A Region 5 game on Tuesday, January 21. West Tallahatchie will confront a Cubs team coming off a 49-38 league loss to West Bolivar (Rosedale, MS). The Cubs record now stands at 2-13.
With the loss, South Delta falls to 6-10 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Leland (Leland, MS) to confront the Cubs in a 1A Region 5 game on Tuesday, January 21. The Cubs go into the game with a record of 2-13. Leland lost 49-38 in their recent league game against West Bolivar (Rosedale, MS)
