South Tahoe Vikings (South Lake Tahoe, CA) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Sparks Railroaders (Sparks, NV), 73-35 in a league match.

With the victory, South Tahoe advances its record to 12-5 on the year. The Vikings travel to Truckee (Truckee, CA) to face the Wolverines in a 3A Northern - West match on Tuesday, January 21. The Wolverines enter the match with a record of 2-13. Truckee lost 55-39 in their recent league match against Hug (Reno, NV)

The Railroaders now own a 2-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wooster for a 3A Northern - West match on Wednesday, January 22. Sparks will face a Colts squad coming off a 63-58 league win over North Valleys (Reno, NV). The Colts record now stands at 6-12.
