The Virginia High Bearcats basketball team scored 100 points and limited the visiting Tazewell Bulldogs to 42 in the Bearcats league triumph on Friday.

The Bearcats now have a 7-4 record. They play next when they travel to Richlands for a Southwest game on Tuesday, January 21. Virginia High will confront a Blue Tornado team coming off a 74-45 league loss to Graham (Bluefield, VA). The Blue Tornado record now stands at 5-6.

With the loss, Tazewell falls to 6-5 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Grundy (Grundy, VA) to confront the Golden Wave in a non-league game on Wednesday, January 22. The Golden Wave go into the game with a record of 8-5. Grundy won 58-42 in their recent league game against Hurley (Hurley, VA)
