Georgia High School Basketball - Thomas Jefferson Academy routs Twiggs Academy

In Friday's league contest, the visiting Thomas Jefferson Academy Jaguars basketball team scored a big 88-45 win over the Twiggs Academy Trojans.
The Jaguars (2-9) will now prepare for their contest against David Emanuel Academy (Stillmore, GA). The Eagles come into the GIAA A Region 4 contest with a 2-11 record. In their last contest, David Emanuel Academy was trounced by Covenant Academy (Macon, GA), 53-31, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Trojans battle the John Hancock Academy Rebels (Sparta, GA) in a GIAA A Region 4 contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Twiggs Academy will attempt to better on its 1-13 season record. The Rebels come into the contest with a 1-14 record after their 62-33 non-league loss to Briarwood Academy (Warrenton, GA).
