Next, the Phoenix clash with the Carver Yellowjackets (Winston-Salem, NC) in a 1A Northwest Piedmont outing, on Tuesday, January 21. Winston-Salem Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 11-1 season record. The Yellowjackets enter the outing with a 8-7 record after their 61-36 league loss to Bishop McGuinness (Kernersville, NC).

The Bengals (1-10) will now prepare for their outing against College Prep & Leadership Academy (Jamestown, NC). The Royals enter the 1A Northwest Piedmont outing with a 14-2 record. In their last outing, College Prep & Leadership Academy routed Albemarle (Albemarle, NC), 73-32, in a non-league outing.
