In Friday's league contest, the visiting Unionville-Sebewaing Patriots basketball team scored a close 49-42 win over the Vassar Vulcans.

The Patriots (7-5) will now prepare for their contest against Laker (Pigeon, MI). The Lakers come into the Greater Thumb - West contest with a 6-5 record. In their last contest, Laker was tipped by Bad Axe (Bad Axe, MI), 47-45, in a league contest.
