The Aliquippa Quips basketball team scored 46 points and limited the visiting Blackhawk Cougars to 23 in the Quips non-league triumph on Friday.
The Quips now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Burgettstown for a non-league game on Thursday, January 23.
With the loss, Blackhawk falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Cougars host Montour (McKees Rocks, PA) to play the Spartans in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 21. The Spartans go into the game with a record of 1-0.
