In Friday's league contest, the visiting Nogales Apaches basketball team scored a good 69-49 triumph over the Desert View Jaguars.

The Apaches (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against Cienega (Vail, AZ). The Bobcats go into the contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Cienega was topped by Salpointe Catholic (Tucson, AZ), 63-31, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Jaguars confront the Pueblo Warriors (Tucson, AZ) in a contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Desert View will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record.
