The Mira Costa Mustangs (Manhattan Beach, CA) basketball were winner over the visiting Redondo Union Sea Hawks (Redondo Beach, CA), 68-60 in Friday's league bout.
The Mustangs now possess a 21-2 record. They play next when they travel to St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy for a non-league bout on Saturday, January 18. Mira Costa will play a Warriors team coming off a 66-30 league win over Freshman Opponent (, ). The Warriors record now stands at 11-7.
With the loss, Redondo Union falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Sea hawks travel to Palos Verdes (Palos Verdes Estates, CA) to play the Sea Kings in a bout on Friday, January 31. The Sea Kings go into the bout with a record of 4-4.
