The Thornridge Falcons basketball squad (Dolton, IL), was nudged 36-33 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Thornwood Thunderbirds (South Holland, IL)
With the victory, Thornwood advances its record to 1-0 on the year. The Thunderbirds travel to Crete-Monee (Crete, IL) to meet the Warriors in a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 21. The Warriors enter the battle with a record of 0-2.
The Falcons now own a 17-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Joliet Central for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 18. Thornridge will meet a Steelmen squad coming off a 53-32 non-league loss to Brother Rice (Chicago, IL). The Steelmen record now stands at 0-1.
