The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Absegami Braves (Galloway, NJ) and the host Our Lady of Mercy Academy Villagers (Newfield, NJ), observed Absegami's basketball team knock off Our Lady of Mercy Academy by a score of 55-45.
The Braves (11-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Shawnee (Medford, NJ). The Renegades come into the non-league challenge with a 3-4 record.
In their next game, the Villagers battle the Holy Spirit Spartans (Absecon, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Our Lady of Mercy Academy will attempt to improve on its 6-7 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 8-3 record after their 52-44 league win over Atlantic City (Atlantic City, NJ).
