Alabama High School Basketball - Autauga Academy holds off Autaugaville

The Autauga Academy Generals basketball team scored 36 points and limited the visiting Autaugaville Eagles to 30 in the Generals league triumph on Friday.
The Generals now have a 12-7 record. They play next when they travel to Thorsby for a non-league game on Monday, January 20. Autauga Academy will confront a Rebels team coming off a 83-18 non-league loss to Saint James (Montgomery, AL). The Rebels record now stands at 7-16.
With the loss, Autaugaville falls to 11-7 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Verbena (Verbena, AL) to confront the Red Devils in a 1A Area 6 game on Thursday, January 23. The Red Devils go into the game with a record of 4-11.
