The Bears (10-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Mattamuskeet (Swan Quarter, NC). The Lakers come into the 1A Atlantic challenge with a 1-10 record. In their last challenge, Mattamuskeet was trounced by Cape Hatteras (Buxton, NC), 42-5, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Dolphins battle the Hobgood Charter Raiders (Hobgood, NC) in a 1A Atlantic challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Ocracoke will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 43-17 league loss to Columbia (Columbia, NC).
