The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Beecher Bobcats (Beecher, IL) and the visiting Gardner-South Wilmington Panthers (Gardner, IL), observed Beecher's basketball team overwhelm Gardner-South Wilmington by a score of 60-30.

The Bobcats (8-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Clifton Central (Clifton, IL). The Comets come into the River Valley challenge with a 12-7 record.

In their next game, the Panthers encounter the Donovan/St. Anne (Donovan, IL) in a River Valley challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Gardner-South Wilmington will attempt to improve on its 4-16 season record.
