The Belton Tigers nipped the visiting Waco Lions basketball squad by a final score of 57-50 in Friday's league outing.
Next, the Tigers face the Lake Belton Broncos (Temple, TX) in a 5A Region II District 16 outing, on Tuesday, January 21. Belton will attempt to upgrade on its 12-16 season record. The Broncos enter the outing with a 11-18 record after their 50-36 league win over University (Waco, TX).
The Lions (8-15) will now prepare for their outing against Chaparral (Killeen, TX). The Bobcats enter the 5A Region II District 16 outing with a 19-10 record.
