Nebraska High School Basketball - Benson overwhelms Omaha South

The Benson Bunnies basketball team scored 61 points and limited the host Omaha South Packers to 16 in the Bunnies non-league triumph on Friday.

The Bunnies now possess a 5-9 record. They play next when they host Lincoln Southwest for a non-league game on Saturday, January 18. Benson will confront a Silver Hawks team coming off a 68-57 non-league loss to Bellevue East (Bellevue, NE). The Silver Hawks record now stands at 9-2.

With the loss, Omaha South falls to 2-11 on the campaign. The Packers travel to Omaha North (Omaha, NE) to confront the Vikings in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 21. The Vikings go into the game with a record of 4-7. Omaha North won 71-63 in their recent non-league game against Elkhorn South (Omaha, NE)
