Iowa High School Basketball - Bishop Heelan Catholic thwarts Lincoln

The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Bishop Heelan Catholic Crusaders (Sioux City, IA) and the host Lincoln Lynx (Council Bluffs, IA), observed Bishop Heelan Catholic's basketball team knock off Lincoln by a score of 80-60.

The Crusaders (11-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Sioux City East (Sioux City, IA). The Black Raiders come into the Missouri River challenge with a 6-4 record.

In their next game, the Lynx encounter the Sioux City West Wolverines (Sioux City, IA) in a Missouri River challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Lincoln will attempt to improve on its 5-7 season record. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a 8-3 record after their 56-46 league win over Sergeant Bluff-Luton (Sergeant Bluff, IA).
