In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Blake Bengals basketball team scored a big 69-2 win over the Northwood Gladiators.
The Bengals (6-7) will now prepare for their contest against Sherwood (Sandy Spring, MD). The Warriors come into the non-league contest with a 7-4 record. In their last contest, Sherwood smashed Paint Branch (Burtonsville, MD), 51-38, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Gladiators battle the Damascus Hornets (Damascus, MD) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Northwood will attempt to better on its 0-11 season record. The Hornets come into the contest with a 6-4 record after their 49-39 non-league loss to Quince Orchard (Gaithersburg, MD).
