The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Bogue Chitto Bobcats (Bogue Chitto, MS) and the visiting Wilkinson County Wildcats (Woodville, MS), observed Bogue Chitto's basketball team overwhelm Wilkinson County by a score of 65-10.
The Bobcats (10-8) will now prepare for their challenge against West Lincoln (Brookhaven, MS). The Bears come into the 2A Region 7 challenge with a 17-4 record. In their last challenge, West Lincoln trounced Loyd Star (Brookhaven, MS), 48-40, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Wildcats encounter the Amite County Trojans (Liberty, MS) in a 2A Region 7 challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Wilkinson County will attempt to improve on its 2-11 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 2-15 record after their 62-32 league loss to West Lincoln (Brookhaven, MS).
