In Friday's league contest, the host Bowie Bears basketball team scored a big 45-14 win over the Young Women's STEAM Research & Preparatory Academy Warriors.
The Bears (10-8) will now prepare for their contest against Irvin (El Paso, TX). The Rockets come into the 4A Region I District 1 contest with a 8-16 record. In their last contest, Irvin smashed Harmony Science Academy (El Paso, TX), 31-15, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Warriors battle the Irvin Rockets (El Paso, TX) in a 4A Region I District 1 contest, on Friday, January 24. Young Women's STEAM Research & Preparatory Academy will attempt to better on its 4-17 season record.
