The Butler Bulldogs basketball team scored 53 points and limited the visiting Hawthorne Bears to 24 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Friday.
The Bulldogs now have a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to Mary Help of Christians Academy for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 21.
With the loss, Hawthorne falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Pompton Lakes (Pompton Lakes, NJ) to confront the Cardinals in a Northwest Jersey - Colonial game on Tuesday, January 21. The Cardinals go into the game with a record of 6-2.
