In Friday's league contest, the host Caledonia Fighting Scots basketball team scored a close 40-37 win over the Byron Center Bulldogs.
The Fighting Scots (11-2) will now prepare for their contest against Grand Haven (Grand Haven, MI). The Buccaneers come into the non-league contest with a 10-1 record. In their last contest, Grand Haven edged West Ottawa (Holland, MI), 54-27, in a league contest.
