Idaho High School Basketball - Caldwell trounced by Emmett

The Caldwell Cougars basketball squad (Caldwell, ID), was crushed 51-22 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Emmett Huskies (Emmett, ID)

With the victory, Emmett advances its record to 7-9 on the year. The Huskies host Columbia (Nampa, ID) to meet the Wildcats in a 5A Southern Idaho battle on Saturday, January 18. The Wildcats enter the battle with a record of 4-10. Columbia lost 64-27 in their recent league battle against Bishop Kelly (Boise, ID)

The Cougars now own a 4-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Middleton for a 5A Southern Idaho battle on Tuesday, January 21. Caldwell will meet a Vikings squad coming off a 64-22 league win over Skyview (Nampa, ID). The Vikings record now stands at 15-1.
