North Carolina High School Basketball - Camden County trounced by Holmes

January 17, 2025: Camden, NC 27921

The Camden County Bruins basketball squad (Camden, NC), was crushed 50-28 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Holmes Aces (Edenton, NC)

With the victory, Holmes advances its record to 4-7 on the year. The Aces travel to Currituck County (Barco, NC) to meet the Knights in a 2A/3A Northeastern Coastal battle on Saturday, January 18. The Knights enter the battle with a record of 9-4. Currituck County lost 79-24 in their recent non-league battle against Deep Creek (Chesapeake, VA)

The Bruins now own a 1-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pasquotank County for a 2A/3A Northeastern Coastal battle on Tuesday, January 21. Camden County will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 71-27 league loss to First Flight (Kill Devil Hills, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 2-10.
