The Falmouth Academy Mariners nipped the visiting Cape Cod RVT Crusaders basketball squad by a final score of 44-40 in Friday's non-league outing.
Next, the Mariners face the Nantucket Whalers (Nantucket, MA) in a Cape & Islands outing, on Tuesday, January 21. Falmouth Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record.
The Crusaders (5-6) will now prepare for their outing against Norfolk County Agricultural (Walpole, MA). The Rams enter the Mayflower 2 outing with a 5-1 record. In their last outing, Norfolk County Agricultural got by Old Colony RVT (Rochester, MA), 41-33, in a league outing.
