Maryland High School Basketball - South Carroll nips Catoctin

In Friday's league contest, the visiting South Carroll Cavaliers basketball team scored a close 50-44 win over the Catoctin Cougars.

The Cavaliers (7-4) will now prepare for their contest against Century (Sykesville, MD). The Knights come into the Carroll County contest with a 2-6 record.

In their next game, the Cougars battle the Linganore Lancers (Frederick, MD) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Catoctin will attempt to better on its 7-4 season record. The Lancers come into the contest with a 10-2 record after their 77-41 league win over Middletown (Middletown, MD).
