The Ridgeview Wolfpack basketball squad (Clintwood, VA), was nudged 58-52 in Friday's league battle with the host Central Wise Warriors (Norton, VA)
With the victory, Central Wise advances its record to 12-1 on the year. The Warriors host Pikeville (Pikeville, KY) to meet the Panthers in a non-league battle on Saturday, January 18. The Panthers enter the battle with a record of 4-6. Pikeville lost 59-56 in their recent non-league battle against Martin County (Inez, KY)
The Wolfpack now own a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to John Battle for a Mountain battle on Monday, January 20. Ridgeview will meet a Trojans squad coming off a 39-33 non-league win over Lebanon (Lebanon, VA). The Trojans record now stands at 10-5.
