St. George's Dragons (Spokane, WA) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Chewelah Cougars (Chewelah, WA), 57-12 in a league match.
With the victory, St. George's advances its record to 7-8 on the year. The Dragons travel to Kettle Falls (Kettle Falls, WA) to meet the Bulldogs in a 2B Bi-County match on Thursday, January 23. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 9-4. Kettle Falls won 52-30 in their recent non-league match against Medical Lake (Medical Lake, WA)
The Cougars now own a 0-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rosalia for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 21. Chewelah will meet a Spartans squad coming off a 60-43 non-league loss to Colton (Colton, WA). The Spartans record now stands at 3-6.
