In Friday's league test, the Rural Retreat Indians (Rural Retreat, VA) basketball squad trounced the visiting Chilhowie Warriors (Chilhowie, VA), by a final score of 37-16.
Next, the Indians clash with the Eastern Montgomery Mustangs (Elliston, VA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, January 18. Rural Retreat will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record. The Mustangs come into the test with a 3-9 record after their 59-30 non-league loss to Grayson County (Independence, VA).
