California High School Basketball - Point Loma routed by Christian

Christian Patriots (El Cajon, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Point Loma Pointers (San Diego, CA), 80-9 in a league match.

With the victory, Christian upgrades its record to 13-4 on the year. The Patriots travel to El Cajon Valley (El Cajon, CA) to face the Braves in a non-league match on Saturday, January 18. The Braves enter the match with a record of 9-5. El Cajon Valley lost 33-25 in their recent league match against West Hills (Santee, CA)

The Pointers now sport a 4-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Patrick Henry for a City match on Tuesday, January 21. Point Loma will face a Patriots squad coming off a 48-38 non-league win over Del Lago Academy (Escondido, CA). The Patriots record now stands at 13-5.
