The Covington-Douglas Wildcats (Covington, OK) basketball crushed the visiting Cimarron Trailblazers (Lahoma, OK), 61-21 in Friday's league bout.
The Wildcats now possess a 7-6 record. They play next when they travel to Okeene for a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 21. Covington-Douglas will play a Whippets team coming off a 74-16 non-league loss to Fairview (Fairview, OK). The Whippets record now stands at 4-8.
With the loss, Cimarron falls to 4-9 on the campaign. The Trailblazers host Pioneer-Pleasant Vale (Waukomis, OK) to play the Mustangs in a Skeltur bout on Monday, January 20. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 7-8. Pioneer-Pleasant Vale lost 50-22 in their recent league bout against Garber (Garber, OK)
